What is Bhai – Lang?
This language is developed in India by two software programmers, “broo” Rishabh Tripathi and Aniket Singh, both software development engineers at Groww and Amazon respectively. “Bhai” in Hindi means “Brother.” Based on typescript, this language uses Hinglish syntax, a ubiquitous internet language used by Indians to send messages to each other. This lang makes this significantly funnier than any different programming language.
Bhai – Lang works the same as other languages such as HTML, CSS, Java, and C++, but the language syntax is what makes it different from others.
How Does It Work?
Like any other language, this language also contains header files, operators, syntax, Variables, and conditions.
The language starts with “hi bhai” and ends with “bye bhai” everything written outside this is ignored. The variable used in this is “bhai ye hai” by using it, you can declare values to your operators. You can also use conditions such as for simple if-else construct you will need to use “Agar bhai” block will execute if the condition is “sahi” and “warna” bhai block will execute if the condition is “galat.”
For example :-
bhai ye hai a = 10;
agar bhai (a < 25)
bol bhai “a is less than 25”;
bol bhai “a is greater than or equal to 25”;
and if your code successfully runs, this programming language gives a “🎉Shandar Bhai” message in green color as output but for error, you see Ashneer Grover’s famous message “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu” with red text.
You all can also access this toy programming language. You will get it on their official website bhailang.js.org, and on the GitHub page of Bhai – Lang, you will get the source code to this language. “https://github.com/DulLabs/bhai-lang.”
