As Pubg came back to India after getting banned, Garena also uses the same technique.

  • Banned in India?

Garena Free Fire is one of the most popular mobile online Multiplayer Battle Royal games worldwide, with around 1 billion downloads on Playstore and Appstore. However, the game had to experience a Ban in India, with all 52 Chinese apps banned by The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), which made a significant loss to the company because around 75 million users of free-fire are from India. And due to this, the company ran into a more substantial loss.

As PUBG came back in India after selling the game to Krafton and making a new version named BGMI (Battle Ground Mobile India), especially for India, Garena is also planning this kind of strategy for coming back, as it has changed its Instagram and Discord handles name from Free Fire Max to Free Fire Max IND.

  • Free fire and fans

This led to greater happiness to all Free Fire India fans, and Popular creators reacted to videos and tweets. Since then, there has been an enormous buzz among the gaming community. As the Indian fans believe that the game will get an India version of Free Fire max.

However, Garena has not clarified much about the ongoing situation. To complete legal works, surely it will take some time or more than that; till then, Free fire max download in India is still available, which is similar to Free Fire, but with high-quality graphics, you can play that game until Indian versions arrive. The game will be about 1GB without containing an in-game resource pack needed to download.
